We document the global event: WEAR A MASK.

“I’ve always had a compulsive desire to document my memories and the people I encounter. My camera comes with me wherever I go.
Committed to staying bright eyed and bushy tailed and to leaving behind an archive of enchanting moments. Blessed.”
勞拉·福克斯（Laura Fuchs）在新澤西州普林斯頓出生並長大。 目前，她在紐約擔任攝影師。
When I first started seeing New Yorkers wearing masks I notice that most people were looking down and not making eye contact nor smiling. I missed the social interaction and found myself trying to smile at people through my mask. Once my masked smile was returned with a passing strangers’ smize, I discovered that people could see my smile through the mask and moreover that I could see theirs, and the MASK SMILE project was born!
There’s something so sweet about walking down the street and exchanging a smile with someone through our masks. The brief connection affirms a deep strength and resilience. The whole project has helped me to maintain a positive attitude and to continue to be grateful for every day.
