About the artist :
Crystal Lupa was born in L.A in 1989 and was studying fashion design womenswear at Central Saint Martins in London. After graduated from CSM in 2012, she started to focus more on paintings and prints.
Lupa creates her artworks through a wide variety of materials and media in the form of paintings, illustrations, sculptures, fashion, or music; always with a touch of dark fantasy, magic realism and allegorical narration.
She is currently based in Taiwan launching her new fashion print label “Ponyo Porco”, with all the spirits rolling into one.

藝術家Crystal Lupa 1989年出生於美國洛杉磯，於台北ㄧ女中畢業後前往英國攻讀藝術與設計。2012年畢業於倫敦藝術大學中央聖馬丁學院的女裝設計系，隨後開始專注於純繪畫及印花創作。
Lupa 創作媒材非常多元，也喜歡嚐試新的事物來發掘更多可能。接觸的領域包含純繪畫、插畫、雕塑、服裝設計及音樂創作等。不論在何種作品，她的風格總是有著黑暗奇異、寓言敘事及魔幻寫實般的文學性。
現定居台北的Lupa正在籌備她與夥伴2015年底將推出集結她創作精華於ㄧ的印花服裝品牌 「Ponyo Porco」。
